A Voter Registration Camp was organised at Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Government Polytechnic College, Raanwan, Fatehgarh Sahib, on 11 September 2026 to facilitate eligible students in registering themselves as voters and to create awareness among young citizens about the importance of voting and participation in the democratic process.
During the camp, students were guided about the voter registration procedure and related requirements. A total of 76 students participated in the camp, out of which 42 eligible students were registered as voters.
The camp was successfully conducted with the cooperation of the college administration, staff and students. Principal Ms. Parveen Kaur appreciated the initiative and encouraged eligible students to exercise their right to vote and fulfil their responsibility as responsible citizens.
