A healthy mind resides in a healthy body and the best way to achieve health goals is through sports. Playing sports keeps us hale and hearty. Among many add-on benefits that sports offer, one is that sports sharpen our reasoning skills. Most importantly, any sport teaches us an important life skill. It teaches us to accept our defeat with grace. A good sportsperson is a good competitor and an ideal team worker. Sporting events or tournaments are a regular feature of our campus. Just as Students return to the Campus following a temporary hiatus caused by the Corona pandemic, Sports have also returned. So, Continuing the tradition of holding Sports Meet every year, our college successfully organised 7 km long marathon race in which boys and girls from all the departments participated with enthusiasm. Lakhwinder Singh, student of ECE 6th semester grabbed the 1st position. Closely on the heels was Mandeep Singh from ME 4th semester finishing 2nd. Sunny Kumar (ME-II) stood at 3rd position followed by Sumit Kumar (ME-II) and Amandeep Singh (ME-II) who were at 4th and 5th positions respectively. Similarly, Meenakshi from (ECE,4th sem), Gurwinder Kaur (ECE, 6th sem) and Tamanna secured 1st 2nd and 3rd position respectively. All the winners were honoured by worthy Principal Sir.
